Last night I heard about a person who had been in bed for the previous seven days, only on a liquid diet, one step away from getting into a coma. Then I think about this topic: we are alive, not for others but ourselves.
We forget that doing good deeds for others is like donating something for ourselves. It is a chain where the one who starts will also get the reward.
But in the race to gain this worldly treasure, we forget to earn points for the world hereafter. It is not only about Muslims but the basic ethics of humans.
How can we live peacefully while snatching money from our fellow beings? Every illegal thing or immoral act is becoming natural now a day. If someone is doing corruption, the answer he gives you when you try to correct his mistake:
“I am not the only one doing it, so do not bother me; mind your own business.”
Money Has The Power To Make You Egocentric
Even in my case, when I started earning, I thought only about myself and questioned why I gave money to others from my hard-earned paychecks, but after some time, I began to feel a change in my behavior. I was becoming more arrogant and selfish.
All I thought about was how I would spend this money on myself.
That’s it!
Thankfully, one day I realized that something was not right. Something was missing in me, or I was doing something wrong. At that time, I discussed it with my mother. Then she gave me a piece of advice that I want to share with you:
“Donate them to others if you want to control money, but if money or wealth starts controlling you, the end will be a disaster.”
At that time, I decided to fix a certain amount of money from my income that I would give to others. The point of narrating my story is that I was also one of them; those emotionless people.
But you know it is possible to change everything if you are determined and have a good company that will guide you to the righteous path.
Stop Sharing Everything On Social Media
This era is all about social media. Do something good and put it in the press. Otherwise, it will go waste. I am not judging their intention, but it is the reality. You are hurting the sentiments of others by showing them to everyone.
It is good to give a positive message to everyone through your videos or acts like that, but have you ever thought about those people you are showcasing on the media? They are helpless, their poverty puts silence in their mouth, and they will bear everything to feed their children and family.
But in my view, it is incorrect; you should help others without affecting their self-respect and emotions.
There are plenty of ways to do it, like blurring their face if you are making the video, or even there will not be a problem even if you do not reveal their face.
Next, start thinking about others; automatically, things will go right for you. As I said earlier, it is a chain transferring from one person to another.

Along with that informative session to enhance our communication and writing skills, preparing us for practical life also goes hand in hand with scholarship.
