A friendly environment allows different local players to portray their skills in this amazing league. After a difficult trial round, when a domestic player reaches the stadium for his debut, it does not matter for which team he is playing; he will put his utmost effort into the match. Because a brilliant performance in a PSL match can give a breakthrough to his cricket career.

1. Azam khanÂ
Azam Khan, a wicketkeeper batsman for Islamabad United, stole the show in the PSL 2023 with his power hitting. He is the reason why Islamabad United has been able to pull through countless matches to their side.
In the PSL 2023, he was ranked eighth among the highest-scoring batsmen. Starting his journey in 2019 with Quetta Gladiators, he came a long way to it. The 24-year-old power hitter made 296 runs in 11 matches with a strike rate of 141.62.
The journey is not easy for him; As the son of former Pakistani wicket keeper Batsman Moin Khan, everyone’s expectations reach the sky for him. He faced criticism for his overweight body and poor performance in the PSA 2019. But the taunts and hateful words of the public motivated him to do better every year. He managed to lose 30 kg within 1 year and proves the sentence, “Everything is possible with your sincere effort”.
2. Saim ayoobÂ
Saim Ayoob, a 20-year-old man who put fire on the field through his amazing partnership with Babar Azam. He opened the match for Pesahwa Zalmi and gained popularity with his breath-taking boundaries and fastest 50 in PLS 2023.
His journey starts in 2021 PSL with Quetta Gladiators; he manages to score only 114 runs with a strike rate of 108.57. Although his first was not the best, his present and future will be tremendous. Up until now, he has scored 250 or more runs in the tournament, having a strike rate of 168.46.
Every time he sets foot on the field, you will witness his mind blowing sixes and fours. In his inning against the Quetta Gladiators, he manages to score 74 runs off 34 balls with the second-highest partnership (162 runs) of the PSL 2023 with Babar Azam.
Moreover Saim Ayub’s amazing performance paved his path in the Pakistan International Team, as it is presumed that he will be part of the Pakistan vs. afghanistan 2023 series in Sharjah.
3. Ihsanullah
Multan Sultan Tiger came up for auction at PSLA 2023. Though Ihsanullah made his debut in Twenty20 in 2022 when he was selected as a local player in Multan Sultan, his commendable performance in 2023 confirms his spot in the Pakistan international cricket team.
He suppresses Haris Rauf’s (a world-known Pakistan fast bowlers) pace with a speed of at least 152 kph. Furthermore In eight matches, he conquered the tournament with 18 wickets at an average of 6 runs per over.
This journey is not easy for him, especially in 2022, when he lost his home due to flooding; he remains determined and fights for his dreams.
