Love Across Borders: The Story of Onija Andrew’s Marriage Adventure in Pakistan

A cross-country love story that is buzzing like crazy all over the internet

Onija Andrew Robinson, a 33-year-old woman from the United States, travelled all the way to Karachi, Pakistan, to marry a 19-year-old Pakistani boy, Nidal Ahmed Memon. But her love story took a tragic end as the Nidal family refused to accept her as their daughter-in-law. This incident caught the attention of both Pakistani and international media, making it more complicated. The legal issues, cultural differences, and financial demands make the situation worse.

The Onija, Andrew, being madly in love with Nidal, divorced her husband and abandoned her children just to spend a lifetime with her love in Pakistan.

“We Are Already Married”. Onija Andrew stated.

However, the airline offloaded her after she misbehaved with two staff members. This situation involved the U.S. consulate in Karachi, who even tried to talk with her and help her to return to the United States, but she simply denied.

Onija Andrew while interviewing to Geo news said: “You got to give me $3,000 a week. I’m becoming a citizen of Pakistan, that’s all I got to say for tonight.”

As for Nidal, the authorities captured him for questioning but later released him after inquiry.
