WHY SHOULD WE EXCLUDE TOBACCO FROM SOCIETY?  

Tobacco is always a taboo in our society. Any clarification will never justify it.   

In 2020, tobacco production worldwide came to approximately 5.88 million metric tons. And China was the biggest tobacco-producing country in 2020.  

Why cigarettes and other addictive substances are still record-breaker products instead of countless disadvantages?  

We elevate them. Literate or illiterate, rural or urban, rich or poor, all are fallen prey to nicotine.  

We are unaware of its drawbacks. It has the power to shatter the whole nation.  

VARIETY OF TOBACCO   

In 2020, as we are advancing in technology, how can we leave behind the development of addictive products?  

In this world, tobacco is not further related to cigarettes. Numerous techniques have evolved.

They are extracted from tobacco leaves. Burnt tobacco leaves mixed with harmful chemicals produce the final product.  

About 600 ingredients are present in the cigarette. Burning these ingredients generates 700 poisonous chemicals, out of which 69 are cancer-causing.

Even if you have started it as a recreational activity, this hell is competent to draw you in itself completely.

An addictive person is capable of doing anything to cure his addiction.  

  • A person can adopt the path of theft to settle down the Money required for tobacco.  
  • He is even capable of murdering for his interest.   
  • Abusive behaviour toward family members is a common practice in smokers.  

An addictive person not only harms himself but also damages the whole society. Thus, nicotine also tremendously increases the crime rate in society.

A country is known by its youth who represent their country all over the world. They are the pillars and roots of the nation. If the roots are damaged, how can we expect a sturdy tree from them?  

WHAT ARE THE ACTIONS TO GET RID OF IT?  

  • The advertising of tobacco products should be banned.  
  • We must enlighten our society about the harmful impact of tobacco addiction on mental and physical health.  
  • People must be knowledgeable about how nicotine affects their personal and social life.  
  •  We must construct Rehabilitation centres. 
  •  to cure nicotine addiction.  
  • We should guide the patients who want to abandon tobacco.  
  • It would help if you did not do it for entertainment purposes like hookah trends in our society.   

CONCLUSION  

Tobacco has no benefit. Whether done in a delighted or regretful environment, your circumstances will never justify your addiction.  

Do you feel contented when you are dependent on something?  

No, why do we choose to become a slave to this addictive world?  

It is always difficult to protect yourself from these dreadful things but for your successful and satisfying future, guard your present self.
